-It was very cool. But, BYOB is not open to just best selling authors… I’m sure that you and Carey have had a few memorable experiences of your own worth telling. I’d love it, if you guys would consider sharing a few - http://www.winelife365.com/guest-writers-wanted-w...

Jon,
After having a few great Cava & Prosecco experiences of my own this past year, such as the Mionetto Prosecco Brut and the Joan Esteve Nadal Cava Brut - you make me want to head straight to Cape Cod! I also had a pretty interesting experience with the 2007 Banfi Brachetto d’Acqui Rosa Regale earlier this year. Here’s a link to that particular post - http://www.winelife365.com/banfi-brachetto-dacqui...

Cheers!
Mark

My most memorable wine experience is very similar. It was at a BYOB lobster / clam shack on Cape Cod that sits right on the water. I was with some close friends and family and we had brought along some sparkling wines - nothing special. Cava & Prosessco. But, for whatever reason, those wines lived up to some of the best champagne I've tasted. It's all about the setting and people you're with to make a wine truly special!
